Job Description
- Maintain the timely and accurate receipt and processing of all samples and Service Requests Forms received from clients.
- Manage accurate and efficient Log-in of samples and maintenance of the Sample Control System (electronic & physical).
- Typing and formatting test reports using data provided from labs and technical staff
- File paperwork in filing cabinets and software programs
- Develop and maintain professional and excellent working relationships with Program Managers, Client Service Reps, and Laboratories.
- Abide by the requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Provide proactive assistance as needed in the growth and development of QIMA
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and have a typing speed of 60 to 90 words per minute
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, learn quickly and seek new assignments, pay attention to details, and meets deadlines in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Maintain a workspace that is organized, and manage time effectively to complete work within designated due dates
- Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member
- Ability to prioritize, delegate and follow up
- Quality minded with high attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- Three or more years of experience with data entry, word processing or typing responsibilities
