RF/Microwave Test Engineer - The successful candidate will be responsible for test engineering and software development activities toward the development of power amplifier and front-end modules used in Wi-Fi products. Activities will include but not be limited to developing test systems and configuring test software, measuring, and analyzing performance data and interacting with Design Engineers and Product Engineers to ensure that products are accurately characterized to a customer specification. The candidate will be involved with all aspects of the module characterization including the individual active devices, the RF components, and the completed RF module. Basic knowledge of DC and RF measurements such as s-parameters, power, noise figure, harmonics and inter-modulation is required. Knowledge of digital modulation techniques used with Wi-Fi standards and the associated measurements such as EVM, SEM, Bluetooth and noise used in RF communication standards is preferred. Analyze data and prepare results for product team review using data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire). Train other engineers and technicians on RF test methodologies and test platform.

Competencies
- BSEE or BSEET and RF/Microwave training.
- 0-2 yrs experience in RF/Microwave Test.
- Experience in the test and characterization of RF and Microwave power amplifiers and Power Amplifier Modules.
- Proficient with test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, digital signal generators and noise figure meters.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C and Visual Basic is preferred.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools, such as Spotfire.
- Familiarity with Digital RF Modulation techniques is preferred.
- Comfortable with data visualization and presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
