RESPONSIBILITIES:
WAFER TEST PROCESS TECHNICIAN
- Perform the operation, maintenance, calibration and set up of automated wafer probers, and vector network analyzers for on wafer SAW filter testing
- Provide support for new products, R&D set ups and high-volume production support to manufacturing
- Identify recurring failures or issues on tools and work with Test Engineer to update controls and design the issue out of the system
- Develop training plans and Train and Qualify new operators
- Maintain Stock Inventories and re-order probe consumables as needed
- Trouble shoot production test set ups for corrective action and optimization
- Assist Test Engineer in standardizing performances across probers
- Assist Test Engineer in developing operators in Lean Manufacturing philosophies and principles
- Work on Test Systems Tools (PM, Corrective and Installation) if need arises
- Assist Test Engineering in coordinating all activities of new qualification
- This position reports to BAW Test Process Engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum two years associate technical degree preferred (not required)
- Candidate must have a thorough understanding of on wafer testing
- Candidates will perform calibration troubleshooting of wafer probe stations as well as RF and DC test and measurement systems. As well as develop training new personnel
- Preferably 3 years of experience in one or more of the following tools: automated wafer probers, , Network Analyzers, RF test and measurement, wafer handlers, working in a clean room environment
- 3 years of tool and organizational experience working in a semiconductor/microelectronics environment
