What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Representative position at QPS Employment Group?
Position Title: Account Representative
Wage: $18/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8am-4:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring an Account Representative at a great company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Account Representative Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review proposal specifications, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work in order to produce qualified bid submittals in a timely manner
- Ensure that the estimates, including general conditions, are accurate, complete and reflect the actual requirements of the project
- Maintain current information and lists for subcontractors
- Receive and prioritize multiple to bid per day
- Download plans and set up new projects as client invitations come in, prioritizing by importance
- Research mall required information and contact mall subcontractors for required bids
- Organize/print and file sub-contractor bids into appropriate dept. as they come in throughout the day
- Download/update current projects bidding as needed with the revised plans and bids
- Assist all estimators as needed to keep them on time
Account Representative Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Sit for long periods of time
- Visual ability allows for computer work and data entry for long periods of time
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks at any given moment and be able to prioritize these tasks according to importance
- Experience in similar position within the construction field a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
- General understanding of utilizing the internet for research, downloading documents from FTP sites, and obtaining information for various malls and subcontractors
- Understanding of general construction and construction terms a plus
