What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician/Front Desk position at QT Optometry?
Job Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
o Greets patients without delay (within 30 seconds) when they enter the store.
o Shows urgency in providing service to patients and satisfying their needs.
o Determines the reason for the patients' visit and explains how to shop.
o Perform pre-examination testing.
o Educate and assist patient in selection of frames, lenses, and/or contact lenses.
o Recommending eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings after considering patient's prescription.
o Recommending eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings after considering needs, occupation, habits, and facial features.
o Examine written prescriptions to determine the specifications of lenses prescribed.
o Dispensing eyewear, taking measurements, and assisting patients with adjustments and/or troubleshooting.
o Clean and merchandise display on a daily basis, displaying effective merchandise at all times.
o Accurately process patient payment transactions and insurance billing.
o Help maintain the attractive appearance of the office.
o Answer phone, appointment, and emails.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
- Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Optical Experience: 1 year (Required)
