Warehouse/Driver

QUAL-FAB is a fast paced, high volume 45 year old manufacturing company. We are in need of a highly motivated person to assist in packaging and receiving duties and work as a driver making deliveries and pickups. Must be a quick study and a creative team member with a focus on quality and timeliness. Deliveries are typically from the south end of Seattle to Bellingham, Mt. Vernon and the Arlington area. We offer competitive pay, benefits, 401K and plenty of opportunity for overtime in addition to the regular 40 hours per week.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

• Coordinate with transportation supervisor(s) to make necessary back-haul pickups.
• Drive a box truck, 13ft - 27ft.
• Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed.
• Check each product off invoice or delivery manifest
• Safely operate vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Safely load and unload delivery goods.
• Comply with all OSHA and Federal Motor Carrier/DOT safety requirements.
• Maintain vehicle in good working condition.
• Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition.
• Report or call in all required repairs daily to Supervision.
• When not driving, assist in all Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving duties.
• Regular attendance is required
• Able to work overtime to complete daily work assignment.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record
• The ability to lift up to 60lbs. several times a day.
• Familiar with surrounding area and be able to read a map/GPS.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
• Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• Must be hard working and self-motivated.
• Forklift diving experience required.
• Ability to use a Hand Truck/Pallet Jack.
• Copy of current Drivers abstract required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
