Position: Overhead Crane Installation Specialist
Location/s: Ashland, VA (Job will be done in Central, VA)
Duration: 3 months contract (possible to extend or convert depending on performance and need)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $35.00/hr. (Depending on skills and experience)
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday); Must be flexible to attend to the on-call schedule

Job Description:
Qualdoc is actively hiring a proficient Field Installer/Rigger to support customers in Central, VA. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance.
\n- Professionally rig and install cranes and heavy equipment
- Collaborate with operators and project managers, and uphold meticulous record-keeping.
- Demonstrated expertise in rigging and installation
- Familiarity with safety protocols, and a willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Comfort with heights is essential, as the role involves installing and rigging cranes up to 200 feet in the air using a bucket lift.
- Must consent to random drug tests due to their work in government facilities, in addition to pre-employment drug and background screenings.
- Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony sex offender)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
- Applicants for employment must be U.S. Citizens or national, U.S. permanent residents (i.e., current Green Card holders), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
