Assembler/Inspect/Load/Unload

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shifts open

Rate: $15 to $16 depending on shift

Overtime available

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Racker:

• Removes parts from bins and places them on conveyor, per process documentation.
• Monitors part quality and identifies defects.
• Notifies supervision and material handlers in advance of potential part shortages.
• Removes tags and labels from full containers brought to the conveyor that have been partially or completely emptied. Re-labels appropriately with all information completed.
• Must know product which is considered 'off-line load product' and makes sure specific racks are loaded in advance of required schedule.

The Unracker:

• Visually inspects parts for imperfections per process documents, supervisor and training.
• Handles all parts properly and carefully.
• Sets aside and records defective parts.
• Date stamps all parts.
• Packs off approved parts per packing specifications.
• Properly labels all packed cartons.
• Informs supervisor of rejected or reworked parts in excess of 10 pieces or as specified by designated supervisor.
• Maintains quality standards for all parts.

The Assembler:

• Verifies part quality using the critical quality specification.
• Handles all parts properly and carefully.
• Sets aside and records defective parts.
• Assembles parts per the operator instructions.
• Properly labels assembled cartons/skids/bins.
• Verifies all beginning/ending partials for correct assembly and labeling.
