What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Coordinator - Health Administration position at Quality DME, Inc.?

Requirements:
- Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
- More than a basic understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Proficiency in communication both written and verbal
- Handle protected health information (PHI) in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and referral sources to maintain the highest-level of customer service.
- Serves as the primary office contact for our referral sources.
- Create and update patient accounts.
- Create and assign tasks associated with corresponding orders.
- Ensure that all the information needed is passed to Patient Account Specialists so that the appointment is fulfilled to the highest quality.
- Documentation review
- Coordinating with the Patient account specialists if necessary for assistance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
