What are the responsibilities and job description for the Settlement Clerk position at Quality Drive Away Inc?
Job Summary: Process daily settlements for Company OTR drivers. Ensures all trip paper work is submitted with appropriate signatures and receipts before settling. Ensure all trips are paid for in an accurate and timely manner according to scheduled cutoff times. Answers all inquiries from Independent Contractors regarding their settlements.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Data entry
- Filing/maintaining assigned documents
- Providing customer service to IC’s
- Problem solving, resolving driver pay issues as they arise
- Communicating with multiple departments
- Auditing driver settlement
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
- Strong math skills and logic
- Excellent organization skills including orientation toward detail
- Ability to handle high pressure
- Ability to identify potential paper work problems
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Credentials and Experience
· High school diploma
· Prefer one year of working in an office environment.
This full time position processes payment to Independent Contract Drivers upon the completion of a delivered load. Applicant must be computer literate, possess good communication skills, detail oriented, highly motivated, dependable and able to work in a team environment.
