Job Posting for Low Voltage Technician/Installer at Quality Labor Management
QLM is Now Hiring for Low Voltage Installer and Low Voltage Technician.
Work Details:
Installation, termination and/or testing of Cat5 and Cat6 cables in commercial
Rack and stack work, installation of assorted patch panels with cable dressing
Work locations include offices, and Data Center
Fiber rough in and termination experience is a plus
Also have needs for A/V, burglar/security, and fire alarm installers
Requirements:
Ability to understand and effectively explain every aspect of the structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross and inter-connections, and testing. This includes understanding applicable codes, standards, and industry-best practices and the ability to differentiate between them and make recommendations.
Ability to choose the correct tool and methodology for the given task; for themselves and can help other team members do the same.
Ability to listen carefully to follow instructions
Demonstrated aptitude for learning from senior team members
