Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual who has a vision, passion, and knowledge in the Cannabis Industry. The Budtender (Quality Care Specialist) will undertake the responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction and service excellence by engaging with customers to identify their needs, present and answer questions about products and services while also recommending solutions.
The Budtender must be well educated in cannabis knowledge including but not limited to: industry knowledge, strain differences, the effects of cannabinoids, types of terpenes, cannabis weight measurements, the growth process, physical effects on the body, THC versus CBD, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, types of devices to consume cannabis with, etc.
The ideal candidate will utilize their cannabis wisdom and positive work attitude to bring the best experience possible to the communities in which we serve. Sharing these attributes and a desire to grow your career in the cannabis industry will make you successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers on retail sales floor
- Provide customers accurate sales information (e.g. cannabis product features, pricing discounts, special offers, after-sales services, etc.)
- Answer customers' questions about specific products
- Cross-sell cannabis products and accessories
- Complete cannabis sale transactions that meet state regulations
- Ensure product shelves and displays are fully stocked
- Provide customer feedback to store Management
- Stay up-to-date with new cannabis products/services and industry standards
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Customer Service Associate or similar role
- Cannabis experience, preferred
- Cash handling and POS system, required
- Sales skills, cross-selling and upselling, required
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers and fellow employees
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to pass a Background Check
- Reliable transportation
