Lifting : you must be ableto lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds and manipulate up to 250pounds occasionally. (Think of lifting couches throughout theday.)
- Pushing andpulling : You will frequently transport loads of up to 100 poundsand occasionally manipulate up to 250 pounds.
- You will manipulate products by hand from aprimary location to a cart pallet or plate.
- Move materials within the Distribution Centeras needed.
- OperatePowered Industrial Vehicles in a safe and appropriatemanner.
- You will alwaysmake safety for yourself and your coworkers a toppriority.
- Must becomfortable working at heights while utilizing equipment such as acherrypicker.
Responsibilities :
- Perform safety check of Powered IndustrialVehicle (PIV) prior to operation.
- Operate PIVs in a save and appropriatemanner.
- Change vehiclebatteries at assigned battery station.
- Use scanning equipment to locate product inDistribution Center and ensure accurate inventory ofgoods.
- Handmanipulateproduct from primary location to cart pallet orplate.
- Pick orders andprepare goods for shipment.
- Manipulate product in a safe and effectivemanner using proper handling SOP.
- Move materials within the DistributionCenter.
- Ensure thecompleteness and correctness of all ordersfilled.
- Ensure accuracyof load by verifying quantity with computer inquirescreens.
- Informsupervisor of needed backorders of product scanning problems orproduct out of sequence.
- Inform supervisor of damagedproduct
- Perform a traileraudit (verify trailer number cleanliness condition) prior toloading and inform supervisor of anydeficiencies.
- Attend all scheduled trainingsessions.
- Assist with thetraining of other employees.
- Perform all other duties as assigned bysupervisor.
- Suggestimprovements on process inputs.
- Perform the job satisfactorily at a sustainedlevel of productivity.
- Follow all OSHA and company established safetyrules and procedures.
- Must comply with attendance policies andprocedures.
- Follow allstandard operating procedures will working at assignedpositions.
- Workeffectively and communicate and relate well with others. Maintaineffective and constructive workingrelationships.
- Demonstrate the Companys Core and Growth Valuesin performance of all job functions

Compensation : This position pays an hourly rateof $18.00 $22.00 plus shift differential increases.
Shift Differentials :
2nd Shift $1.00 Added toBase
Weekend $1.00 Added to Base for Premium (Must Workthe Saturday or Sunday)
Profit sharing is available toeligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on theprofitability of the company.
