Important Attributes for a Quanexus Data Technician:

  • Keen ability to troubleshoot IT issues and dedication follow an issue all the way to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with team members and partners
  • A willingness and commitment to learn new things and grow new skill sets
  • Ability to fulfill on-call needs (after hours or weekends, as needed)
  • Ability to travel by company car, as needed, to clients within a 50-mile radius

And of course, your technical skills! This should include:

  • General knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of network printers, new user setup, password resets, mobile support
  • Working knowledge of hardware build & repair desktops, laptops, servers, printers)
  • General / beginner level understanding for performing:
  • Active Directory and Exchange user and group maintenance tasks
  • Virtual Environment Management of Exchange 2010-2019/O365, SQL server management and understanding of various Microsoft Server products (Hyper-V, VMWare, Remote Desktop Services, etc.)

As a Quanexus Data Technician, we’re counting on you to:

  • Accept inbound support emails; gathering basic information to resolve or escalate, as needed
  • Provide basic troubleshooting, administration, and maintenance of OS/Workstation, low level network issues, and remote monitoring software
  • Document all service order information into the CRM or other applications
  • Take ownership and be accountable for solving service support tickets
  • Successfully follow client protocols, processes and policies as outlined and presented by management via email, training materials and required team meetings

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
