Overview
Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks Clinical Laboratory Scientists (1 opening) in West Hills, CA. Responsible for conducting specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results in accordance with laboratory procedures. Maintain records of testing samples, analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and review and release procedures. Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines, adhere to laboratory quality control policies and document quality control activities. Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting test results, correct problems encountered and/or notify the appropriate individual. Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications and maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology or a related field. California State Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (or license eligible). Shift: Tues-Sat, 7:30am-4:00pm. Salary: $34.16 to $64.87/hour. Standard company benefits.
