Roles & Responsibilities:
- Sensor and antenna set up and teardown
- Pre-flight and post flight operations
- Sensor operation
- Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance activities
- Operational Safety
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Technical Background
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in drone and lidar operations
- 1-3 years’ experience working with lasers
- Troubleshooting and repair knowledge
- Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes
- Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience as a sensor operator
- Previous experience with electrical products preferred
- Previous experience with maintenance, upkeep and reporting
- Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
- Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders
- Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking. Occasional office involvement
- Very Heavy Travel (> 50%)
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
- Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
