Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments with attention to accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor and document patient health outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the facility.
- A valid registered nursing license in Florida.
- Proven experience working with developmentally disabled and/or long-term acute care populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
