Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Med/Surg Tele unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions, as well as experience in telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, telemetry readings, and overall condition, identifying any changes or abnormalities and taking appropriate action.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and medications, promoting self-care and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing.
• Experience in Telemetry (Tele) monitoring preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
