Quidel is looking for a Scientist to join our team in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego. The candidate should have a strong background in protein biochemistry and analytical method development. This role will focus on the analytical characterization of proteins and conjugated particles by means of biophysical, biochemical, and/or immunological method. This individual will serve as the internal subject matter expert for flow cytometry, will manage operation and maintenance of flow cytometry equipment. This individual will work with scientists and research associates across the company to optimize assays, run samples and perform analyses. Due to the number of diverse projects in the pipeline, this role will offer many opportunities for expanding technical acumen beyond flow cytometry to other technical methods and instrument platforms. The ideal candidate will have the technical capabilities and desire to work in the lab collaborating with Scientists of all levels.
