The Role

The HR Coordinator provides administrative support to the HR team. This role will assist the HR Manager with the daily operations, in particular the recruitment, onboarding, and maintain employee records.


Responsibilities

  • Assists department in carrying out a variety of human resources programs and procedures
  • Maintains Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and employee records, ensuring data accuracy through self-audits and reports
  • Performs routine filing, scanning, and archiving of records to ensure record retention compliance
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
  • Supports and monitors HR support ticket requests
  • Supports Office Manager and HR team with scheduling virtual and in-person meetings
  • Manages HR project boards and calendars
  • Assists the HR Generalist with recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Prepares and conducts new employee orientations
  • Coordinates meetings, events, and activities with the HR Department staff
  • Updates HR and leadership team on current employee count, terminations, new hires, assets, and similar data for HR Dashboard
  • Provides backup to HR team in their absence
  • Support HR Manager on special projects


Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or aPHR/PHR credential preferred.
