Cycle Counter Lead
Where we need you
- Lead and supervise a team of cycle counters, assigning tasks and providing direction to ensure timely completion of inventory audits.
- Lead efforts when customer inventory loss impacts delivery and ensure timely resolution of inventory discrepency
- Develop and implement cycle counting procedures and schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage of inventory items.
- Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules, utilizing appropriate counting methods and techniques.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, collaborating with warehouse personnel and other relevant departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize inventory management software and systems to record inventory counts, track discrepancies, and generate reports for management review.
- Train new cycle counters on inventory counting procedures, safety protocols, and use of equipment.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with inventory control policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to established standards and regulations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and automation.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure accurate inventory levels and support operational requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.

- 2-4 years of material/production/customer planning experience
- 2-4 years of logistics experience
- 2-4 years of automotive experience
- 2-4 years of SAP experience
- 4-5 years of forklift experience
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- HS Diploma required
