R&E Supply is seeking a full-time Store Manager for the Fort Smith, Arkansas location. Do you have HVAC distribution experience and are you looking for greater opportunity? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STORE MANAGER

Being the best at customer service and customer relationships is what motivates you and drives your success. Your store is growing because you have built a team with positive energy that knows how to be professional and friendly while also having some fun. Customers feel at home with your team and appreciate the great service and attention to detail. Extra effort is made to earn customer trust, whether by locating hard to find parts, providing an extra delivery, or quickly owning and correcting mistakes. You know you cannot do it all, so your focus is coaching and training your team and giving them more and more responsibility. This enables you to have time to strengthen customer relationships and troubleshoot challenging problems. Some days are hectic and stressful, but you get the job done because your team is cross trained and knows how to work together and will take on any task, no matter how big or small. Things don't always go right, but your customers stick with you because you have a relationship and mutual respect. There is a lot to your job, and you feel good about each day knowing you have worked hard to be a knowledgeable leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coach, train, and motivate your team to get to know customers and consistently provide great customer service. Set expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Lead by example and work according to company culture and values
  • Create an environment where customers are respected and made to feel right at home
  • Help customers succeed by offering solutions based on strong knowledge, excellent service, and great products
  • Exceed customer expectations by taking time to listen and help solve their problems
  • Follow company procedures and utilize the inventory computer system to execute
  • Maintain an orderly and clean store with accurate inventory and appealing showroom
  • Coordinate inventory control activities, including receiving, stocking, transfers, cycle counts, returns, and warranty processing
  • Manage omnichannel customer orders: walk-in, phone, text, email, e-commerce
  • Manage efficient and timely customer delivery
  • Partner with Territory Managers to grow sales and your customer base
  • Work with home office departments including purchasing, inventory control, credit and collections, training, and human resources

Working a Monday through Friday schedule, this Fort Smith location Store Manager position earns a competitive base salary based on experience, plus significant additional performance-based bonus compensation. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company contribution, paid time off, and holiday pay. A vehicle allowance and credit card for business expenses are provided. We also provide industry and leadership development to help you be the best leader possible. There is a $5,000 signing bonus.
