What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Associate position at R Farm?
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as donuts, breads and desserts
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens and fryer
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet food safety standards
- Package and label bakery products for display
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery needs
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary
- Must be willing to work a 4am-noon shift, mostly weekdays with rotating Saturday
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
