Purpose of the Position:
The Trainer is responsible and accountable for assisting the management team in all restaurant activities. They set the highest example of guest service and guest satisfaction and empower the team to delight our guests. Trainers are well versed in every position in the restaurant and have the potential to promote into management roles with Rusty Taco.

Responsibilities:
The Trainer is a support role to the restaurant management team and is responsible for any tasked outlined by the General Manager.
Provides exceptional service to guests.
Actively participates as a member of the management team and is expected to set the example and direction during the shift.
Helps the management team train new and existing team members to ensure they are following recipes and procedures.
Creates and maintains an atmosphere where training is respectful, fun and done correctly.
Contributes training support to the management team for all new products (LTOs) and new initiatives.
Participates in daily support activities to assist in:
- Sales Building/ Contests
- Checklists
- QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) Performance
- Labor and Cost Control
Serves and supports the restaurant team players as well as develops them and enables them to serve guests and support one another.
Recognizes and thanks team players.
Excellent communication skills: oral and written.
Knowledge:
Basic computer functions (MS word, excel)
Knowledgeable of Rusty Taco training procedures and materials
Food Handlers/Food Safety Certification
Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
