Job Title: Selector I

Location: Warrendale, PA - 15086

Experience: 1-3 yrs.

***SHIFT: Sunday-Friday (off Saturday and one day during the week) 5:30pm- until work is done (about 9-10 hours roughly)-- if worker has an appt/family commitments, manager is willing to work with the "end time" so long as they work the min 8 hours).

• **Electric Pallet Jack (required) and stand-up forklift (preferred--having both is a plus).
• ***Having worked in/be OK working in cold/wet environment.
• ***Proof of a good attendance record (having worked at all previous employers for min 6 months over the past 2 years)
• ***min 6 months of selecting experience.
• ***Able to lift up to 50lbs (individually).
• Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, labeling product using SOS label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
• Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, Cooler, and Freezer, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements, basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Preferred requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.

Reports to Night Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
