Position Overview:
Rackner is seeking an APEX Developer for a modernization system that has been
migrated from on-prem to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The new system needs to be
expanded to a broader audience and with additional functionality. The system is developed on
Oracle APEX platform. The resources will understand the current system, use requirements that
have been captured, and be part of the technical team to build out the existing system to be
public-facing and integrate the system with external data sources. Our team has worked with
multiple stakeholders to gather, document, and understand business requirements. The
Developer will work in a small team leading all aspects of the Oracle implementation. Will support all aspects of developing of the APEX system on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and build integration with external financial applications for payment processing. Responsibilities:
- 12 years in the IT industry with a focus on developing applications, and designing and developing web pages and web-based products
- Develops enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features
- Proficient in Oracle APEX, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and web APIs
- Analyze and interpret business rules and workflows for application design
- Determines specifications, plans, designs, and develops the most complex and business-critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes
- Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
- Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
- Function as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL
- Experience with Cross-browser development/compatibility
- Excellent problem-solving skill
- Experience in working in Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level-3 Environment
- Ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
