Automotive & Light Duty Truck Service Technicians at Rad Air are responsible for performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics & testing procedures, and performing all types of maintenance, repair, and service procedures on a multitude of vehicles. Our technicians are expected to arrive to work with a positive attitude which is conducive to the team atmosphere of the company.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics to address client concerns
- Document results of inspections and diagnostics
- Service vehicles as directed. This may include replacing parts, repairing and servicing vehicles, and performing regular maintenance services
- Perform electrical testing and repairs
- Diagnose check engine lights and other malfunction indicator light issues
- Utilize equipment to perform fluid exchanges
- Observe and follow all safety guidelines
- Observe and follow all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace by cleaning and organizing tools and equipment when not in use
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience as an automotive technician
- Ability to make logical decisions affecting job outcomes without guidance
- Courteous and professional attitude towards employees, clients, and vendors
- Willingness to stay up to date and receive training on latest technologies
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic to advanced diagnostic skills are desirable
- AS degree in Automotive Technology is desired but not required
- ASE certification is highly desirable but not required
