Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager here at Rad Tag. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations, ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. You will work closely with the management team to oversee and supervise staff, while also actively engaging and interacting with customers. The Assistant Manager will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and enjoyable atmosphere, implementing necessary policies and procedures, and ensuring the smooth running of the facility. The position will be starting on October 30th.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising the laser tag attendant team. Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting a positive work environment, and fostering exceptional customer service.
2. Guest Relations: Interact with customers, addressing concerns or inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met. Strive to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, going above and beyond to provide exceptional service.
3. Operational Oversight: Assist in managing facility operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement efficient processes and procedures.
4. Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring the well-being of staff and guests. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
5. Financial Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, monitoring cash handling, and reconciling cash registers. Provide support in monitoring expenses and optimizing revenue generation.
6. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating laser tag parties and events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
7. Staff Training and Development: Support and facilitate ongoing training programs for the laser tag attendant team. Help develop their skills, product knowledge, and understanding of best practices.
8. Problem Solving: Aid in resolving customer complaints and effectively manage challenging situations. Collaborate with the management team to find solutions and implement improvements.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a customer service-oriented industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with customers and staff.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them consistently.
- Knowledge of financial management principles, including cash handling and basic accounting.

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with laser tag rules, equipment, and game strategies is an advantage.
