Position: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Providence, RI.
Contract Term: 4 months
Hours / Week: 35
Required Skills / Tasks
• Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers and telecommunications equipment.
• Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and some software
• Customer Service Skills
• Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization
• Understand the basics of Active Directory and network groups
• Assist with network issues – switch/routers
• Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions
• Must be on-site at Cranston
• Can work with a team as well as individually
• Microsoft Office skills
• Blue Zone, MacAfee, InTune skills preferred
• Windows 10
