Keeps updated information about the Hotel Facilities:
- All hotel room types, numbers/names, layout, appointments, amenities and locations.
- All Hotel features/ services, hours of operation.
- All Hotel restaurant food concepts, menu price range, dress code and ambiance.
- All Hotel room rates, special packages and promotions.
- Local events, attractions, holiday schedules.
- Knows names and location of meeting/banquet rooms along with functions booked for the day. Will direct guests as needed.
- Maintain updated resource materials on all vendors and information to accommodate guest requests.
2. Ensures smooth daily operations:
- Monitors scheduled daily group activities
- Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures.
- Processing of incoming mail, deliveries and packages to the standard of The Radisson Blu, keeps a record of all guest related deliveries
- Ensures easy access for all other employees to guest information, and arrangements through the computer system
- Close communication and cooperation with all other departments to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and productivity
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Communicates closely with reservations on package related tasks and pre-reservation arrangements
- Communicates all operational events during the shift handover, and will follow up with any pending items.
3. Takes care of Guests and their requests
- Greets guests arriving at the hotel providing a warm welcome, assisting in directions and providing information as requested.
- Review designated in-house guest list and be familiar with guests' names and room locations.
- Anticipate guests’ & resident needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests & residents, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Assists Guests and other departments in arrangements like restaurant reservations/ recommendations, tickets for all kind of venues, transportation arrangements, special requests from individuals and groups
- Take record and relay messages accurately, completely and legibly.
- Resolve guest/resident complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up with designated hotel personnel to ensure completion of request.
- Books, reschedules and reconfirms transportation for guests (air, land, sea)
- Arranges Babysitting Service
- Books and confirms Tickets for local attractions, and happenings
- Accept and record wake-up call requests; deliver to PBX
- Reconfirm all guest requests for the following day
4. Keeps Guest Records updated
- Maintain positive guest, resident and employee relations at all times.
- Develop and maintain all guest profiles.
- Updating guest preferences and requests as well as arrangements for guests in the PMS for future reference
5. Ensures proper accounting procedures are followed
- Post charges according to accounting procedures and in conjunction with front office cashiers
- Drop receipts, balance reports
- Complete designated cashier reports.
- Run closing reports.
- Collect payments, in communication with accounts and the front office cashiers
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
- Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
- Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
- Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 -5 years experience in similar position
- Minimum one year upper upscale hotel experience
- High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills, ability to influence situations
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
- Strong Microsoft Office suite and reporting skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Must possess a strong team spirit
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
- Ability to communicate with employees and guests.
- Ability to process information through pc system.
