Essential Duties:
- Operate multiline phone with switchboard.
- Welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure reception and common areas are kept clean.
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, copy machine, and a computer.
- Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
- Maintain the general office filing system.
- Process all vehicle registrations through CVR.
- Prepare tax and title documents.
- Check for accuracy and completion of customer paperwork.
- Prepare payoff checks for all vehicles purchased.
- Process dealer trades
- Process wholesales
- Maintain title book.
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to management weekly.
- Maintain police book.
- Stay up to date of title regulations.
- Process service loaners.
- Cross-trains others to handle title clerk daily responsibilities.
- Conducts periodic training sessions for F&I managers and sales personnel regarding title regulations and procedures and issues a written memo to managers and all sales personnel whenever regulations change.
- Posts accounting transactions such as journal entries, adjustments and reversals.
- Any other task that are needed.
