Job Posting for Staffing Coordinator at Rainbow Home Care

Rainbow Home Care needs a Staffing Coordinator to join our Staffing Team Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am-5pm. We offer Medical and Dental Insurance to our Full Time Staff, Vacation Pay and Sick Pay. You will need to pass a drug test and TB test.

Ÿ Oversee all staffing needs and operations with the company. Is responsible for coordinating/ communicating daily staffing coverage;

Ÿ Manage and maintain the data base using our scheduling software, adjust calendars for unassigned shifts immediately and update clients, personal attendants and employee notes in staffing software constantly as conversation and events occur to ensure accuracy;

Ÿ Initiate the hiring process of Personal Attendants by reviewing applications/resumes and identifies qualified applicants, also schedules interviews, finds job placements and retains valuable employees;

Ÿ Is responsible for applicants completing the application process correctly;

Ÿ Monitor staff compliance with mandatory certifications such as CPR, First Aid Training, Drug testing, TB testing, and other necessary skills/trainings;

Ÿ Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans;

Ÿ Take charge of staff management and assure the maintenance of all personal files;

Ÿ Possess working knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures regarding use of vacation/sick leave, bereavement pay, insurance information etc.;

Ÿ Has knowledge of computers such as Microsoft excel, word and outlook, has impeccable phone skills;

Ÿ Supervise actualizing/claiming of all shifts correctly to aid in the accuracy of the payroll process;

Ÿ Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation;

Ÿ Is able to work with different employees and clients, under pressure, has the ability to work in fast-paced environment, and is able to handle rigorous staffing demands;

Ÿ Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations;

Ÿ Attend impromptu meetings as requested by Staffing Supervisor, the client, ID team, or Regional Center Service Coordinator;

Ÿ May need to train the Personal Attendant on methods for assisting the client to attain his/her goals and performs regular in-service trainings to that effect;

Ÿ Oversee staff training of all cases to ensure customer and PA satisfaction, this includes reviewing the schedule and pay for a case/shift/schedule and reviewing the care plans, parking and entry instructions etc.;

Ÿ Conduct verbal and written warnings of Personal Attendant staff assigned to cases he/she supervises that fail to comply with their duties. All warnings must be followed up via email and HR and the Staffing Supervisor must be “cc’d”;

Ÿ May need to make supervisory visits and may need to bring and introduce the Personal Attendant to a case if necessary;

Ÿ Must be able to work flexible hours if necessary for On-Call situations;

Ÿ Attend regular staff meetings and reports on the status of the cases to which he/she is assigned;

Will sit with the clients when in emergency situation, i.e.; a Personal Attendant calls out and there is no other Personal Attendant available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
