About the Role
As an IT/Helpdesk Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to our organization. You will be the first point of contact for our employees, ensuring their IT issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Your expertise and problem-solving skills will be vital in maintaining the functionality of our IT systems.
*This is NOT a remote position.
\n- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, both in person and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network connectivity and VPN services.
- Assist in the setup, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Manage and monitor user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and IT procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve system functionality and efficiency.
- Ensure data security and adherence to IT policies and procedures.
- All candidates must be a US citizen.
- The candidate must live within commuting distance if Lehi, UT.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Basic understanding of networking principles, protocols, and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
- Experience with google Workspace, JAMF, BetterCloud, and remote desktop support.
- Knowledge of mobile device management and support.
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Basic scripting or coding skills for task automation.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
