What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - 158884 position at Raise?
We are working with an Oilfield client that is growing like crazy and adding a Material Handler to their team.
Pay Rate: $16.00-$17.00/hr.
Contract Length: 5 months contract with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
Shift Details: 4 days of 10-hour-long shifts
Location: Duncan, OK 73533
Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets instructions and procedures.
- To load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
- May move materials manually or using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, conveyor, or hand-operated crane or hoist.
- Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Observes and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
- Performs other duties and activities as directed.
Qualifications:
- Know how to operate “Scan Guns”.
- Effectively communicate with other drivers and leads in the different businesses.
- Continuously engage in Flex Activities and record activities in MPM.
- Understand Flex Lead duties and fulfill position when needed.
- Know how to input HOC and BBO into OneView and actively engage with these practices.
- Listen and respond to instructions from Mentors and Leads in Material Handling.
- Basic understanding of the layout of the facility.
- Communicate effectively through radios on units with business etiquette.
- Use the material handling handbook for information first, then reach out to the mentor for additional information.
- Basic understanding of production folders and how they are used by material handling.
- Adhere to material securement requirements.
- Basic understanding of loading and unloading tugger carts
- Driver’s license is required and we provide all PIT certification needed.
