Job Title: Registered Nurse LTC
Location: 93 Campus Avenue, Lewiston, ME 04240
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: Days (6a-6p)
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Pay Details:
For Local Candidates pay rate: $54 to $62/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $60.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,400.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $30.95
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,238.28
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,161.72

For Traveller 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $62.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,480.00
Summary:
As an RN or LPN, you will deliver both direct and indirect care, fostering comfort and well-being among our diverse patient population across specialized units.
Key Units:
- 3 East: A specialized 31-bed unit dedicated to Alzheimer's and dementia care. Here, you will utilize advanced communication techniques to address challenging behaviors, recognizing them as valid forms of expression. This unit provides long-term placement in a home-like setting tailored to meet the unique needs of residents.
- Transitional Rehabilitation Unit: Located on the second floor, this 42-bed unit offers short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, strokes, and other acute conditions benefit from comprehensive nursing care including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment.
- 3 West: A 42-bed long-term care unit providing essential services to residents requiring extended placement in a supportive environment resembling home.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Associates in Nursing
- Valid State of Maine or compact RN license
Experience:
- 1-3 years previous RN experience
Other Skills Required:
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
- Flexibility to work 24/7 coverage as needed
- Willingness to float across units based on operational requirements
