You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Developing and executing training programs for management team members and hourly employees that drive improved performance and results Assisting in the recruiting for hourly and administrative employees, supporting onboarding as needed. Develop and support performance management and leadership training Leading salaried employee onboarding and development Collaboratively managing employee relations issues for the facility Assisting in the design and management of programs and policies that support the orderly operation of the facilities: work rules, plant-wide job bid system, accommodation requests, light duty work, and attendance programs Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations to include FMLA, ADA, FLSA, AAP, SMETA, and other regulations that impact the operation of the facility Coordinating employee activities that drive positive employee relations Managing unemployment claim activities Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense. Other duties as assigned. Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role, primarily M-F though 24/7 plant operations may require occasional support on evenings and weekends. About You: You’ll fit right in if you have: Education: B.S. degree in Business, Organizational Development, HR Management or related field Experience: 7 – 10 years of generalist experience in HR in a manufacturing environment.
