Responsibilities:
A Store Team Leader is a thoughtful, strategic leader who can serve and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. The Store Team Leader is knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the retail grocery industry. The Store Team Leader serves as a direct representation of Raley's vision, mission, and purpose. The Store Team Leader provides leadership and guidance to all Team Members throughout the store.
A Store Team Leader responsibilities include
- Complete responsibility for all phases of store operations
- Forecasts, schedules, and monitoring labor to be consistent with store sales and budget
- Leading, training, coaching, and communicating with all Team Members
- Assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints
- Maintaining Safety and Sanitation standards throughout the store
- Developing future leaders
- Ensure compliance with all company and store policies and procedures (and thus compliance with all state and federal laws applicable to this industry).
- Be able to manage department leaders to include: interviewing, hiring, training and development, delivering on-time performance appraisals, providing feedback, scheduling, counseling and terminating
- Enabling a high-performing team through effective scheduling, efficient task assignment, recognition, fun, performance management and accountability. This includes documentation and performance evaluations.
- All other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Desired qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or related field preferred with five (5) years of retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Friendly and customer service oriented. Interest in food and cooking a plus.
- Must display exceptional leadership skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous leadership experience required
- Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, quality and presentation
- Skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
- Ability to work independently, effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written directions
- Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy

Standing, Sitting, Lifting Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
Must be 18 years of age
