At RAM Restoration, we assist homeowners and businesses during times of need after a disaster occurs. We look to mitigate damage from spreading or becoming larger, while restoring the customer’s home or business back to its pre-loss condition. We look to take on the burden of the clean-up process from our customers after water, fire, mold, or storm damage has occurred. We are looking for a Lead Mitigation Technician to join our team; A dedicated and reliable worker that can perform the job duties of the Lead Mitigation Technician Role pertaining to water, fire, mold, and storm damage.
What We Are Looking For:
· Has at least 1-3 years of experience in water, fire/smoke, and/or mold mitigation.
· IICRC Water/Fire Certified, Mold (AMRT) preferred.
· Xactimate Experience required.
· Exceptional customer service and being able to explain scope of work needed.
· Experience in a lead role that can provide constructive feedback and receive constructive feedback.
· Understanding of insurance processes, coverages, and responsibilities that can assist our customers.
· Reports to work on time and follows on-call schedule guidelines.
· Professionalism that can follow dress code and maintain good personal hygiene.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Scope and inspect various mitigation and emergency service calls relating to water, fire, mold, smoke, and storm damage.
· Estimate for services performed through Xactimate accurately and efficiently.
· Oversee and manage a team of 2 or more technicians on a daily basis.
· Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos, and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.
· Ensures all equipment needed for job is on truck prior to traveling to job site.
· Maintain inventory for current and future jobs.
· Interacts with residential and commercial customers and ensures proper communication is established for jobs.
· Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
· Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
· Ensure cleanup of job site is done properly with nothing being overlooked once job is complete.
· Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval purposes, and requests payments when necessary.
· Perform daily monitoring and tasks for each assigned job for our customers with urgency.
· Responsible for making adjustments as needed to the drying or cleaning plan to ensure job is done to RAM Restoration’s standards.
· While performing job duties, employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds and have the ability to perform job duties while standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
Requirements:
· High School Graduate or Equivalent
· Must have knowledge for use of smartphone/email technology.
· IICRC Certifications in Water, Mold, And/Or Fire preferred
· Must have valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
· Basic Math Skills
· Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally over 100 pounds with assistance.
· Ability to successfully complete a background check.
· Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
· Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)

· 8-hour shifts
· Monday-Friday
· Overtime, as needed
· On-Call: Overnight, Weekends, Holidays
