Employment: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

Compensation: BASE HOURLY PAY: $23-$24 PLUS COMMISSION Potential

(Ability to earn $100,000 and more - Your drive and ambition determines your Salary)

POSITION SUMMARY

RAM Windows is looking for Inside Sales Representatives to join our Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, and Houston offices. The Inside Sales Representatives will sell products and services offered by our company to current and new customers in our Showroom and support the Regional Sales of the Company's Windows & Doors. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in inside sales, preferable in window and door sales, strong multitasking ability, and excellent follow-up skills. He/she will be an expert communicator with success in negotiation.

The Company has the ability to sell windows and doors to a wide array of customers creating endless opportunities for an aggressive, hardworking and motivated individual.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. This position is responsible for providing its customer product information for all of RAM’s product portfolio. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide quality support to the existing customers
  • provide support Outside Sales and Regional Sales with any sales-administrative functions
  • Assist new and existing customers or clients that walk through RAM's Showroom inquiring for more information of RAM's products, Windows and Doors.
  • Show new and existing customers RAM's products in our Showroom area.
  • Learn and obtain knowledge of RAM's product portofolio of Windows and Doors. 
  • Generate and process service requests, quote requests, and assist with order fulfillment functions
  • Must be able to work with customers and the general public effectively and courteously
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication skills.  Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others
  • Attend Trade-Show events and RAM's Builder Association events to help promote sales
  • Markets and sells the company's products or services
  • Prepares bids and quotes
  • Answers customer inquiries
  • Researches new product requests and writes orders
  • Tracks and prepares reports on daily, weekly, and monthly leads and sales
  • Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication skills. Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Fast-paced & energetic

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public relations, or a related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related inside sales experience; window or door experience is preferred

REQUIRED JOB-RELATED SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Competency and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically, Excel to be able to do Customer Quotes
  • Strong Computer literacy and ability to learn New Software Platforms used in Sales, Estimating, and Quoting.
  • Excellent Negotiation skills
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced in inside sales and must show a history of success

  • Ability to read architects drawings (plus)

  • Prior experience in Estimating and/or Quotes in a manufacturing or construction industry preferred

  • Self-motivator with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Great presentation skills

  • Strong lead generation and follow-up skills

  • Experienced in customer service
  • Organized and Self-disciplined
  • Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Reliable, Honest and high level of Integrity
  • Fast-paced & energetic, motivated individual.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Positive, high-energy attitude
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, up to 75%
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to walk, stand, bend, and stoop.
  • Judgment, follow-up, social awareness, reading/writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, communication (oral and written)
