RamClean is a commercial cleaning and janitorial services company that is growing fast and we need great people to help us scale our business. We are looking for a professional that is experienced in both sales and operations management that is hungry to prove themselves. You will join our executive team as a General Manager of Champaign and oversee the Janitorial Services and Commercial Cleaning Operation in Central Illinois.
Sales Responsibilities include:
Leverage your list of business contacts to help generate new business for janitorial services with a focus on large recurring service contracts.
Cold call a provided list of businesses
Respond to marketing requests for quote
Find and respond to RFPs.
Schedule appointments to tour facilities of prospective customers to perform a walk through and gather janitorial service requirements
Prepare Scope of Work spreadsheets.
Estimate pricing of services
Create quotes and proposal presentations
Organize and track your sales tasks and customer activity in our CRM (HubSpot)
Complete required sales documentation for client onboarding
Work with our sales and marketing team to meet monthly sales goals
Operations:
- Work with our operations team to onboard new customers and execute service delivery
Visit client locations to attend operational walk throughs, gathering information to build the scope of work for clients and cleaning staff.
Hire and train janitorial staff
Create work schedules and manage service delivery
Serve as primary customer service contact. Communicate with clients to resolve any issues with service delivery
Perform on location audits and inspections
Monitor our GPS-based mobile app to ensure workers clock in and out
Ensure work orders for specialist services (floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning)
Ensure work orders are completed and submitted for invoicing
Develop and execute contingency plans for cleaners that call off work.
Order and manage supplies
Manage employee hours and approve timesheets for payroll
Complete employee evaluations
Create efficiencies in the operation to increase margins
Work with executive team to execute company wide objectives
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in management for a facility services company
2 years of experience in B2B sales
Experience working with an enterprise CRM
You must be willing to cold call potential clients during any downtime (lists will be provided)
Utilize business contacts to network and find potential customers
Must be a reliable and efficient communicator. You will be collaborating with both sales and operations teams
Ability to work well with diverse groups of people and delegate effectively
Technically adept. We use technology and we are a data driven company. Must be good at using operational software, back office software, mobile apps and email
50-60 hours per week that will include work in the evenings and occasional weekends
Preferred
- 10 years of experience working for a janitorial services company
3 years of experience in B2B sales
1 year of experience working in HubSpot
1 year of experience working in Swept or similar facilities service mobile app
Well rounded experience in operations, sales, marketing and business administration
Experienced working on Google Workspace environment (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications
Bilingual Spanish / English would be highly desired but not required.
Salary:
- $65,000 to $75,000 per year
Eligible for sales bonus
Company vehicle and expense account is provided
Health insurance after 60 days
In this position, you have complete oversight for the Central Illinois operation with a focus on growth and operational efficiency. You will be working with an existing operations team but will be the primary sales rep for the area.
