ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Inspects the Banquet rooms for assigned functions insuring that all details of set-up conforms to the event order, including room temperature and lighting.

 

  • Inspects table place settings for cleanliness, damage and appearance.

 

  • Responsible for proper setting of buffet tables and other food service tables used for catered functions.

 

  • Supervises the handling, storage and security of all banquet equipment.

 

  • Ability to supervise the service staff to ensure guest satisfaction during the entire catered event.

 

  • Handles all guest requests as necessary and promptly informs management of issues.

 

  • Practices and encourages "Teamwork and "Clean as you Go" policies.

 

  • Prepares Captain Report at conclusion of all responsible functions.
  • Supervises clearing and post function cleaning and storage of function rooms, banquet aisle and storage areas.
  •  Mandatory attendance for monthly departmental meetings
