Training Coordinator

Randa, a global leader in apparel and accessories, is seeking candidates for a Training Coordinator for our distribution center located in St. Rose, LA. The Training Coordinator is responsible for learning all positions within the DC, executing training plans and partnering with human resources to complete onboarding activities for new hires.

Responsibilities:

• Train new hires on process and procedures, including production, quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with department managers to develop training and establish a cross-training program.
• Partner with human resources to deliver orientation and onboarding procedures through a new hire’s first 90 days of employment.
• Document and track training, maintain training records and provide feedback to leadership.
• Develop training materials, assess training effectiveness, and establish training schedules.
• Coach and counsel associates on overall performance.
• Partner with leadership on monthly new hire assessments and provide input during the annual review process.
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring of DC associates and all safety initiatives.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Must be self-motivated, proactive and willing to assume new responsibilities
• Strong aptitude for implementing creative solutions
• Team oriented, excellent interpersonal and team building skills
• Multilingual ability, Vietnamese or Spanish fluency a plus
