Randall Electrical Contractors is seeking a Payroll Administrative Assistant to work in our Titusville, FL office.
This is a full-time position with benefits. The pay rate is $16 - $20 based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Process timesheets/reimbursements- Certified Payroll/ CCIP reports
- RMI Certified payroll/ CCIP reports
- Maintain employee files - Insure update expired doc Drivers License, Badges
- Handles the following: Vacation requests, reprimands, worker's comp, evaluations/raises
- Process new hires/terminations
- Coordinates orientation with Apopka, administer drug test as needed
- Verify employment as needed
- Assist employees with any questions/concerns
- Review resumes and schedule interviews
- Keep employee records up to date electronically and paper
- Apprenticeship Program Representative
- Apply for sponsorship at new schools as needed for apprenticeship program
- Enroll students upon John's approval
- Apply for certifications for apprentices on prevailing wage jobs and request credit as needed
- Keep track of absences & the level of each apprentice
- Send out Company Emails
- Check eligibility of employee to verify if they can be added as a driver to insurance
- Maintain company vehicle list & distribute updated tags and insurance info
- Keep track of iPads assigned to employees
- Assist with audits
- Maintain current employee spreadsheet
- Cut checks for vendors and change period in Sage
- Assist with entering Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, Change Orders in Sage
- Assist with answering the phones, receiving packages, assisting walk-ins, and order supplies
- Assist with reconciling vendor statements
- Keep track of sick time earned on government projects
- Notarize documents as needed
