Develop, implement, exercise prescription based upon the patient#s clinical status, neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic problems, and the exercise assessment. Educates patients in the correct technique for safe exercise, evaluate the patient#s responses to exercise and conditioning and make suggestions for changes in the patient#s exercise prescription based upon these responses and communicate this information to the exercise physiologist and Medical Directors appropriately. Responsible for exercise sessions and the paperwork necessary for each class and patients. Provide educational sessions for all aspects of the program. Bachelor#s degree from an accredited college with a major in Exercise Physiology. CPR and ACLS within six months of hire. Credential from the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Specialist. 1 year experience preferred in cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation.
