Process Technician - Molding

Do you have experience in plastics injection molding? Are you looking for your next step in your career? Randstad at Nemera is looking for qualified, experienced technicians to be a part of our team at Nemera. We are looking for motivated, driven candidates that can perform assigned duties each shift. Specifically looking for Night Shift. (6pm to 6:15am) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Must have experience in plastics injection molding.

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changeovers.
• Load the validated master cycle parameters into the Injection Molding machine at each startup.
• Load programs into and align automated and robotic systems.
• Ensure Injection Molding machines are running to standard and ensuring product quality meets specification at each startup.

• Start and stop Injection Molding equipment after initial start-up.
• Answer Injection Molding equipment alarms.
• Troubleshoot Injection Molding and automated assembly processes.
• Clean injection molds as required per work instructions.
• Perform color changes and material lots as required, and complete traceability documentation.
• Maintain Lean initiatives and participate in lean projects.
• Retrieve required documentation out of TMS to assist with quality related decisions.
• Complete production and workstation documentation as required.
• Complete Injection Molding equipment and mold (TPM) Total Preventative Maintenance activities.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 11 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
