1st Shift Weld

We are looking for resitant welders to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly. This is a spot weld position, no welding experience needed!

-HS diploma or equivalent is required from an accredited institution  



salary: $15.99 - $16 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

-Weld and/or rivet parts according to prescribed methods and specifications using resistance welding machines
-Some welding station also requires light assembly operations requiring use of automatic air-gun
-Set up and operate welding machines under supervision; including selecting tips, welder control settings, air pressure, etc. as necessary to perform operations
-Preparation of materials for welding; including peeling of plastic from stainless steel cases and deburring of certain metal parts.



The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 35lbs

standing for 9 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
