2nd Shift Press Operator

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am $17.00/hour We are seeking a canidates with experience in machine press operation for a client located in Campobello, SC. Requirements: • Be at least 18 years old • Have HSD/GED • Have a good work history • Have mechanical ability/ knowledge of how to use hand tools, fixtures, gages, etc. • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment • Be able to multi-task while paying attention to detail • Pass a Mechanical Comprehension test in-office Beneficial skills for the position include: • Mechanics • Blueprint reading • Ability to read/ operate rulers  

salary: $15 - $16.5 per hour

work hours: 2 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

This position will work closely with the Stamping Manager, to ensure part quality, via:

• Visual inspection using a microscope
• Dimensional inspection
• Documentation of those inspections

Applicants are required to:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have HSD/GED
• Have a good work history
• Have mechanical ability
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to multi-task while paying attention to detail
• Pass a Mechanical Comprehension test in-office

Beneficial skills for the position include:
• Blueprint reading
• Ability to use/ operate micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators



The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 40lbs
