Accountant

Well established and growing wholesale distribution company is looking for an accountant to work closely with the Controller to provide financial information and reports to the managing partner. Must have experience with month-end closings, accruals, fixed assets, cash flows, reconciliations and more. Vlookups and Pivot Tables required. Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting including month-end close, preparation of journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including several bank accounts - investigate & resolve variances.
• Review and analyze financial statements, expenses, trial balance, and other related reports.
• Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Fixed Assets – depreciation schedules
• Support Payroll and Accounts Payable projects.
• Assist with the annual audit and participate in documentation and testing of key internal controls.
