Alarm and Security Technician

Randstad is looking for an Alarm and Security Technician. Take pride in knowing your work could save lives. The ideal candidate has 1 year or more of experience, has the ability to interpret installation plans, and the ability to operate power tools and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must pass a background check. Must have a vaild drivers license.

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and repairs advanced security and complex camera systems.

• Installs, tests, and inspects basic fire alarm and access control systems.

• Consults with client on system requirements: provides system recommendations and cost estimates.

• Uses provided statement of work, specifications, and blueprints to properly install systems based on building layout and setting.

• Installs wiring and equipment in an efficient and professional manner.

• Services, tests and inspects advanced security, complex camera systems, and basic fire and access control systems; makes adjustments and repairs as required.

• Ability to read installation and system manuals.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and building plans.
