Anodizer/Processor

Randstad is seeking an experienced Anodizer for a company in Pflugerville, TX. In this role, you will be controlling anodizing equipment using a computer operated system. Must have some basic math skills and computer skills. You will be working around chemicals with potential spash exposure near process lines. This role requires product inspection and attention to detail.  Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product frequently. This role requires standing for long periods of times and working in a loud work environment. Must pass background check and drug screenings. 

salary: $35,360 - $39,520 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

A Anodizer/Processor controls anodizing equipment to provide a corrosion-resistant surface to
aluminum objects per customer requirements. Analyze current production procedures and standards to
identify inefficiencies following customer requirements.

• Able to read and follow set instructions.
• Responsible to maintain quality – signs off work as acceptable
• Perform visual cosmetic inspection prior to beginning work 20/20 vision (corrected) required, reject non conforming product to quality/MRB
• Assemble parts into fixtures using hand tools
• Experience with metal plating, electroplating, anodizing, chemical cleaning, chemical conversion, coating, or any other metal finishing 
• Must be familiar with Microsoft office and be able to use electronic order tracking systems
• Must be capable of doing basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry)
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints/part drawings
